Baltimore Ravens are a competent American football team. They do compete in National football leagues in Baltimore. The teams have been one of the most successful since their foundation. Below are some of the best Baltimore Ravens Players of All Time.

10. Peter Boulware, Linebacker (1997-2005)

Just ask any quarterback who this guy is, and they will have to remove the grass from their helmet first. The sacks he amounted to in Baltimore were 70.0 could destroy opposing offenses with his explosive pass-rush ability. He had the ability to take over games, and there were nothing offenses could do about it. His best year was 2001 when he logged a whopping 15.0 sacks, 4 pass deflections, 4 forced fumbles, and averaged 9 tackles a game. He also went to 4 Pro Bowls and was the 1997 NFL AP Defensive Rookie of the Year.

9. Ray Rice, Running Back (2008-2013)

His short time with the Ravens will put him down in history as one of the best backs in Raven’s history. He was putting defenders on their backs with the craftiness of his footwork. His best season was easily 2011 when he logged 1,364 rushing yards, found the end zone 12 times, had 704 receiving yards, and 3 receiving touchdowns. He finished his career after being cut by the Baltimore Ravens due to off the field situations. He appeared in 3 Pro Bowls, 2009 and 2011 2nd Team All-NFL.

8. Marshal Yanda (2007-Present)

Marshal Yanda was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2007 NFL draft. With all of his current statistics, he is widely considered to be one of the best linemen that football has ever seen. His current career has logged him 5 Pro Bowls, 2 First-Team All-Pro, 2 Second-Team All-Pro, and the Baltimore Ravens MVP for 2015.

7. Haloti Ngata (2006-2014)

Haloti Ngata was one of the best Baltimore Ravens ever. He has done just as much on the field as he has done off the field. His 2008 campaign could be argued as one of his best ever with 55 tackles, 12 assists, 1 sack, and 2 interceptions. His low numbers were just a fluke due to a number of double teams he was receiving that year. He has been to 5 Pro Bowls, 2 First Team All-Pro and is still active in the NFL today

6. Jamal Lewis, Running Back (2000-2006)

The best running back in Baltimore Raven’s history is Jamal Lewis, sorry Ray Rice. He is best famous for his game against the Cleveland Brown when he rushed for 295 yards, which was a record until Adrian Peterson rushed for 296. He finished the 2003 campaign with the most rushing yards in the NFL. Lewis also finished that year 3rd in touchdowns. He only went to one Pro Bowl in 2000.

5. Joe Flacco, Quarterback (2008-Present)

Now many skeptics will claim that this player could not be in the top 10 most popular players. Well, I think you’re wrong. He came into the league as a rookie and started every Raven’s game. He is the all time leader in Raven’s history with passing yards and touchdowns. His rookie season was his best because, during the playoffs, he led the Ravens to 2 NFL road playoff wins. after giving them 11 regular season wins. He has won a Superbowl in 2012 and was named the MVP.

4. Terrell Suggs, Outside Linebacker (2003-Present)

T-Sizzle is probably up there in popularity close to Ray Lewis. This guy could destroy opposing offenses in a blink of an eye. He was all over the field. He was selected in the 1st round of the 2003 NFL draft. Sugges is the Raven’s current sack leader with 106.5. His 2011 season is widely known because of his tremendous statistics line. He took the quarterback down 14 times, 50 tackles, 2 interceptions, and had an engine that wouldn’t stop. This monster has been to 6 Pro Bowls.

3. Ed Reed, Safety (2002-2012)

Ed Reed was like a magnet to the football. If you thought you had a window to throw a deep ball, well think again. Ed Reed would snatch them out of the air, and take the rock all the way to the house. He was drafted in the first round of the 2002 NFL draft. Ed Reed was in 9 Pro Bowls, 2004 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and holds the record for the longest interception return for 108 yards total. He was a book of offensive tendencies, which led to him being labeled a “ball hawk”.

2. Jonathan Ogden, Guard (1996-2007)

One of the few players to start their career in the same place they finish their career. He was also selected in the first round of the 1996 NFL draft. Jonathan has been to almost every Pro Bowl in his career except for his rookie year. He made it very difficult for a lineman to get to the quarterback. Ogden was a peaceful person on the field but was a quiet competitor. He is one of the few linemen who can actually say they caught a touchdown for his lone 2 receptions.

1. Ray Lewis, Linebacker (1996-2012)

This guy is in the top 10 players of all time list. His teeth chattering hits, his pre-game dance that he would do before destroying your quarterback, and just the sight of him on the field would make you turn the other way. He played middle linebacker for the Baltimore Ravens his entire career also. Lews was one of 13 Pro Bowls and was an All-Pro 10 times. He finished with plenty of sacks in his career, but he wasn’t known for that. He was notable for completely leveling players, hitting them so hard that the ball would pop right out. His best season was in 2003 when he logged 6 interceptions, 2 forced fumbles, 1.5 sacks, and had a whopping 120 tackles.
